Osteopathy

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is the recognised and established science of human mechanics, a system of diagnosis and treatment which hangs the main emphasis on the structural and mechanical problems of the body

It focuses mainly on the musculo-skeletal systems of the body (muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints etc..) Osteopaths do treat a lot of backs, but can treat other joints aswell

Your first visit to the Osteopath

Your initial consultation is 45 minutes and will allow you to tell the osteopath about your problem and will be followed by a comprehensive examination to determine the best treatment plan. The osteopath will explain in detail what treatment is required and why. If treatment other than osteopathy is indicated, the osteopath will refer you to the most appropriate specialist.

Our osteopath is registered with the General Osteopath Council, a statutory body established to maintain the highest standards within the profession.
