Julia Hazelwood is a Sports Massage Therapist with over 10 years experience of working in the Fitness industry.  She specializes in Myofascial treatments, based on the anatomy trains principles and feels that clients can really benefit from these techniques (see www.anatomytrains.com for more information).

Julia is also qualified to treat Dr Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage at Therapy I level.  Working on the lymphatic system these specialized gentle pumping techniques have been shown to help a whole host of conditions e.g. sinusitis, rheumatoid arthritis, acne, IBS, rosacea . pregnancy, stress, pain relief, torn ligaments, pre/ post operative.  By removing any excess fluid and debris in the tissue spaces MLD encourages the healing processes, as well as calming the nervous system aiding recovery. Coupled with a ‘deep oscillation’ unit (Hivamat 200), which acts on connective tissue, the benefits of the MLD treatment can be enhanced accelerating the benefits (see www.mlduk.org.co.uk for more information).
