Anna Risius - Physiotherapist
Anna Risius MCSP - Member of the H.P.C.
Graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2002
Anna worked in the NHS for five years, in the musculo-skeletal field for the last four years. This included working closely with G.P.s and consultants, specialising in orthopaedic trauma, but also rheumatology and obstetrics/gynaecology. Since 2003, she has been based in a physiotherapy gym running rehabilitation classes, and clinical pilates as well as manual therapy.
She has a personal interest in Equestrian sports, competing up to medium level affiliated dressage and has experience in all disciplines. In 2005 she travelled with the GB single horse carriage driving team to the world championships in Rome.
Anna also obtained the Post-Graduate diploma in veterinary physiotherapy from the royal veterinary college in 2006 and works part time treating four-legged athletes!
She has a keen interest on continuing professional development, regularly attends courses and is a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports Medicine.
