David Ede - Physiotherapist
David Ede MSc - Physiotherapist
David graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2005. He has recently completed his MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine at Queen Mary’s University London.
David has worked in the NHS since graduating; he combines this with working in private practice. Previously David has worked in a specialist running clinic and semi professional football and Rugby clubs.
David has a keen interest in biomechanics, sports injury/rehabilitation and tendon injuries and rehabilitation; having just completed his research into tendon properties and their relation to pain.
David is a firm believer that prevention is better than cure and applies this when designing individual rehabilitation programs, to prevent reoccurrence of your injury.
David is a keen recreational runner and also enjoys general outdoor pursuits. He recently climbed Ben Nevis so understands the desire to constantly push yourself to your limits, and the frustrations that occur when injury prevents you from doing so.
